I am Kati (and I hope that on one day I might hear a bit from you too!) and I am a psychologist trained in Catharsis Complex Art therapy. During my own search for methods and practices to relief anxiety, live with more ease, lightness and find my authentic voice I casted my vote on art therapy, that is a combination of healing through movement, creation and talking. I would be honored to accompany you on your own journey of finding and cherishing your true self and to live in harmony with our fast paced and continuously changing world.

I got my degree in psychology at the Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary in 2016, specialized in counselling. I was full with energy and will to do, and I wanted to act and move fast, so I started to work during my MA years in business; an environment that was more than suitable to keep myself always busy. I was working in different startups and a multinational company for six years as a – from the outside – successful high-performer. And without even noticing it, I spiraled deeper and deeper into burnout and anxiety until the point I was hardly able to get out of the bed. It took me three rock bottoms to understand that I do something inevitably wrong and even though I was able to cognitively understand what’s going on, my feelings – and therefore ultimately my acts – remained the same. Just maybe with a different outlook. Although I had great support in my healing journey, there was a glass ceiling with talking therapy I was not able to break and old patterns kept on repeating.

I started to study catharsis complex art therapy in 2021 and slowly I arrived a strange and relatively new place of acceptance and self-compassion. That was the moment I knew that art therapy has a vast healing potential and something that could work for many people who are struggling with high emotional volatility, accepting their shadows, living up to their values, following their guts and making choices based on what makes them fulfilled on their own journey.

And this is something I am here to help you with.

I work with people over the age of 18 who do not have a psychiatric diagnosis. I am in my second year of training as an art therapist, so currently I do not provide activities that are considered health services or therapy, but I lead self-discovery sessions under regular individual supervision.

I would love to hear from you.

Whether you have a question about pricing, ongoing programs you could join, or would need information about how art-therapy works, I am here to help. Drop me a message and let’s chat!
